Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Bilingual Outbound Call Center Representative to join a dynamic team. In this role, you'll help members of Medicare Advantage and Medicaid health plans by offering, explaining, and scheduling free healthcare evaluations, either in-home or virtually. You'll play a vital role in making a difference in people's lives while meeting key performance goals.
What You'll Do:
Make an average of 50 outbound calls per hour using an automatic dialer system to offer, explain, and schedule healthcare evaluations with providers.
Follow approved scripts to ensure members fully understand and are comfortable with the process, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic demeanor with health plan members, clients, and team members.
Meet daily targets, including 300-400 outbound calls, setting 24 appointments per day, and adhering to quality standards and attendance policies.
Adjust, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed, while providing excellent customer service.
Track performance results, including appointments and call statistics, using designated reporting systems.
Report any member complaints or escalations to the appropriate manager promptly.
Participate in peer coaching sessions to improve performance as needed.
Adhere to all HIPAA and security guidelines while handling protected health information.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
At least 1 year of call center experience, or 2+ years of general work experience.
Previous experience in an outbound call center or high-volume, metrics-driven environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a results-oriented outbound call center.
Strong communication skills with a friendly and conversational approach.
Ability to follow a fixed schedule, including start times, breaks, lunch, and end times.
Comfortable using multiple computer systems while making calls.
Proficiency in English is required; bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
