Clinician I, II or Senior Licensed Clinician | Alaska Behavioral Health
Partial Hospitalization Program | Anchorage
Salary Range: $68,000 to $110,828

About the Team
The Partial Hospitalization team is multi-disciplinary and serves children ages 9-17 and adults with acute needs or who are not responding to a lower level of care. The program includes medication management, intensive therapy, and skill-building to help clients regain stability, improve quality of life, and avoid the need for higher levels of care.
Alaska Behavioral Health is a National Child Traumatic Stress Network site and training hub for childhood mental health and trauma treatment.

CLINICIAN I
Responsibilities
- Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services to effectively resolve crisis; conduct clinical evaluations to determine risk and appropriate level of care
- Participate in regular individual and group supervision
- Provide behavioral health services using evidenced-based practices including CBT
Qualifications
- You have a master or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field. AKBH can assist with providing licensure on site for Unlicensed Clinicians.
- Pay Range is $68,000 to $77,649 depending on experience. This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 10% of your salary.
- AKBH consistently provides both individual and group clinical licensure supervision for our behavioral health providers who are working towards their post-master's and post-doctoral clinical licenses. The most common licenses for therapists in Alaska are Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Both require 100 hours of clinical supervision. Market rates for licensure clinical supervision are $150-$200 and hour. At 100 hours, that is a $15,000 to $20,000 value – and our staff receive it as a free benefit.
CLINICIAN II
Responsibilities

- Participate in regular individual and group supervision
- Provide Behavioral health services using evidenced-based practices including CBT
- Provide supervision for BSW level providers
Qualifications
- You have a master or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field.
- You’re a Licensed Clinician (LPC, LMFT, LCSW required)
- Pay Range is $72,310 to $93,579 depending on experience.
- This position is eligible for a $20,000 sign on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 10% of your salary.
SENIOR LICENSED CLINICIAN
Responsibilities
- Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services to effectively resolve crisis; conduct clinical evaluations to determine risk and appropriate level of care
- Participate in regular individual and group supervision and be provided with additional training opportunities as part of our professional development plan
- Provide behavioral health services in the Anchorage area and state-wide via telehealth using evidenced-based practices including Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) and Trauma-Focused CBT
- Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with internal & external standards and regulations; documenting progress for each service provided and review and update treatment plans as specified
- Provide Clinical Supervision for unlicensed providers
Qualifications
- Earned Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a regionally accredited university and an APA accredited program, or a Master’s degree in social work and licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or a Master’s degree in counseling and licensed to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); or a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and licensed to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- You have experience working with SED clients, and experience with providing trauma-informed care
- You have 7-10 years clinical experience providing direct services as a psychotherapist
- You have at least two years providing clinical supervision
- Pay Range is $85,637 to $110,828 depending on experience.
- This position is eligible for a $20,000 sign on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 15% of your salary.
