What You’ll Do:

  • Lead & Inspire:
    You’ll be the heartbeat of our tasting room, motivating a team of 50 employees to deliver top-notch service and create lasting memories for our guests, while spearheading seasonal recruitment, interviewing & onboarding. With your guidance, our team will thrive in an inclusive culture focused on exceptional customer experiences.
  • Engage Guests:
    As the face of our winery, you’ll ensure every visitor feels special and valued. You’ll gather customer feedback and enhance our offerings, keeping the tasting room vibe in sync with our winery’s spirit.
  • Drive Sales:
    Let your creativity shine as you drive revenue through innovative guest experiences! You’ll track performance metrics and coach your team to hit sales & club signup targets, all while collaborating with the Events Manager to make our tasting room events unforgettable.
  • Strategize & Execute:
    Partnering with our Senior Retail Operations Manager, you’ll help craft and implement strategic initiatives that elevate our wine presentation and enhance overall guest satisfaction. From public events to concerts, you’ll play a key role in boosting traffic and revenue.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience: 2+ years in a managerial role in a high-volume retail or hospitality environment (wine or food industry experience is a plus!).
  • Leadership Skills: You’re a natural motivator with a knack for inspiring diverse teams.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service are a must.
  • Sales Savvy: Proven ability to drive sales and hit performance goals.
  • Wine Knowledge: Familiarity with the wine industry is essential; WEST or Sommelier Certification is highly preferred.
  • POS System Proficiency: Demonstrates a high level of coachability and problem-solving aptitude with technology.

Physical Requirements:
This role involves standing, bending, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. You should be comfortable coordinating multiple tasks and communicating clearly in English. Some travel between locations may be required.
