Job Overview:

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking porter to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our apartment complex, ensuring they are inviting and in excellent condition for residents and guests. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, staircases, and lobbies.
• Perform cleaning tasks in residential units between tenant move-ins and move-outs, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living spaces.
• Remove trash and recycling from all areas of the building, ensuring proper disposal.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report the need for replenishment to the property manager.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks during seasonal cleaning or property inspections.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
• Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the property management team.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure that all common areas and properties comply with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Perform ad-hoc cleaning tasks as requested by property management.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in residential or property management settings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills to report any issues to property management.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift cleaning equipment or supplies.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
