Pay Rate/Range: The budgeted hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $22.11 to $23.40/hr. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full hourly range for this position is $22.11 to $26.05/hr.

Brief Summary of Job Duties:
The Lab Assistant works in Dr. Regina Lapate's lab alongside a postdoc, lab managers, and graduate student researchers and undergraduate RAs. They will collaboratively work with other members of the lab. Responsibilities will include conducting fMRI studies involving behavioral tasks of cognitive control, emotion and memory. Behavioral tasks involve the use of a joystick and/or button box. Will be collecting Physiological measures of arousal, including trans-radial electrical bioimpedance velocimetry, electrodermal activity, and eyetracking. These procedures require training in fMRI safety, physiological sensor application, and human subjects research. Closely collaborates with the PI (Lapate) and other lab members to prepare timely and thorough progress reports to grant agencies. Also has responsibilities for organizing lab meetings and recruiting and training undergraduate RAs as needed for the projects that the Lab Assistant is involved in.
