Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the efficient flow of goods and materials. The Warehouse Lead will play a crucial role in maintaining productivity, ensuring safety compliance, and meeting operational goals while leading and supervising a team of warehouse staff.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
• Perform accurate data entry to track inventory and manage stock levels.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee and enforce safety compliance measures and protocols within the warehouse.
• Organize and maintain schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
• Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and data entry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods when required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

* Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.

* Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.

* Adjust controls to guide, position, or move equipment, such as cranes, booms, or cameras.

* Shovel material, such as gravel, ice, or spilled concrete, into containers or bins or onto conveyors.

* Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.

* Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.

* Bundle and band material such as fodder or tobacco leaves, using banding machines.
