Eightway Transport is growing, and we are looking for Full-time Transport Care Specialists in the East and West Valley!

The Transport Care Specialist is a rewarding career allowing drivers to interact with our elders and provide the utmost care while transporting patients from hospitals, doctor’s appointments, and other facilities.

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for helping others; and don't mind getting on the road with short notice. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude! ** Priority if you have Wheelchair/gurney experience.

Pay

• Weekly pay
• $16.00-20.00/hr DOE

Job Types

• Full-time
• Part-time; 4-6 hours a day for early morning or late evening shifts
• Weekends as needed
• Expected 20-40 hours a week

Qualifications

• Smart phone with GPS capabilities
• Valid AZ Drivers license
• Able to pass a criminal background check and; drug screening
• Able to support 150 lbs (push patients in wheelchairs or stretchers)
• Clean driving record over last 3+ years (no more than one recorded incident)
• NO DUI IN LAST 5 YRS
• CPR/First Aid Card, Level One fingerprint clearance card, or the ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other necessary locations
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary supplies
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including pick-up/drop-off times and mileage
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure smooth transportation services
• Handle any special requests or needs of passengers with empathy and professionalism
• Report any incidents, vehicle maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly
• Participate in training and safety meetings as required
