Job Description

Principal Product Manager, Tech for Intuit - AI Powered Hybrid Workplace

The Tech for Intuit organization at Intuit is looking for a dynamic Principal Product Manager who is user-centric and can transform the technology that powers our hybrid workforce.

You are passionate about creating products that change the way employees work. You are a product person through and through. You are a customer advocate (which in this team is the Intuit Workforce) first and know how to balance that responsibility with the business analytics/metrics that drive success. You bring that ethos to work every single day, where you partner with design, analytics, and engineering team members to create and deliver integrated, innovative end-to-end employee experiences.

As a Principal Product Manager in the Tech 4 Intuit Product Organization, you will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of reimagining employee experiences such as the Hybrid Work/Workplace Tech Experiences and Hybrid Employee Events Experiences by leveraging AI, automation, low-code no-code, and RPA technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams, our platform groups, our internal stakeholders, and external partners (vendors) to develop and implement a comprehensive build vs. buy technology strategy. The experiences you will own strategy and execution for will accelerate workforce velocity and enable Intuit employees to collaborate effectively with each other.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product visionary and product owner to drive the evolution of the hybrid workplace and events tech portfolio.
  • Partner with stakeholders, user groups/user personas across Intuit to continue to understand pain points to build and maintain capability vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Deliver product requirements with prioritized features and establish the operational rigor for operating and improving the capabilities you own.
  • Serve as the product evangelist, advocating for the customer every step of the way - and evangelizing how technology can enable the customer outcomes.
  • Define customer benefits and clarify user priorities to drive decision making.
  • Work with the architecture, engineering, and design teams to prioritize short-term and long-term goals.
  • Manage several large IT vendors - influencing roadmaps, building partnerships, and ensuring accountability (i.e. Zoom, Google, Swoogo, Poly, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the given workforce technology capabilities - with knowledge about industry benchmarks and the capability market landscape.
  • Monitor and measure product/capability performance - analyze capability NPS, product usage, conduct follow-me-home’s, and operations data.
  • Monitor overall app utilization across Intuit, discover new trends and apps, and analyze usage patterns.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-7 years of product management experience in a tech/software product with AI as a focus.
  • Ideally 1-3 years of people management experience and/or people management readiness.
  • Experience working with third-party tools and tech offerings for Enterprises such as ServiceNow, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.
  • Preferably experienced in recent times with experimenting and delivering AI-powered experiences.
  • Experience delivering a transformational employee experience for an organization - taking them through an experience change journey.
  • Experience leading the ideation, technical development, and launch of enterprise software products, transforming your expertise in enterprise software products.
  • Organized, operational thinker who has a track record of managing complex products and/or programs.
  • Experience working and collaborating across customers, engineering managers, UI engineers, and other technical partners to design products.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset - can use data to define metrics for initiatives, to measure current state, and to track attainment of stated metrics.
  • Innate curiosity and willingness to dive deep into a complicated platform product, and the influencing skills to navigate solutions and bring together disparate points of view.
  • Strong business and technical background, with academic concentration in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical disciplines preferred.
