We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager for our Senior Living Construction projects. This is a unique opportunity to bring your passion for construction and senior living together, creating exceptional environments that enhance the lives of seniors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground-up construction, with a special focus on senior living and assisted living facilities. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning to execution, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
3. Review and approve project plans and specifications, making necessary changes when needed.
4. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
5. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and adjust as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
6. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
7. Manage the relationship with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams.
8. Perform risk management to minimize project risks and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety and building regulations.
10. Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements to improve future projects.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in project management in the construction industry.
3. Solid experience with ground-up construction, senior living construction, and assisted living projects.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
5. Understanding of all facets of the construction process, including building codes, legalities, and contract management.
6. Competency in construction project management software and MS Office.
7. Ability to plan and see the “big picture” while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
8. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities.
10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
