Job Title : Construction Safety Manager

Location : West Chester, OH
Duration : 18 - 24 Months (Start January 2025)
Type : 1099 Contractor

Compensation :

• Hourly Rate : $45/hr
• Completion Bonus : $150/month
• Pay : Weekly

Schedule :

• Hours : M-F day shift 40hrs/wk

Project Scope :

Safety oversight for an interior demolition with an office build-out. 400,000 sqft.. Adding into to P & G facility in West Chester, OH

Qualifications :

• Experience : 5+ years in construction safety management, electrical safety experience preferred
• Certifications : Current OSHA 30 certification required. BCSP cert preferred

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
• Provide safety training as needed.
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required within the manager's skills and certifications

Skills :

• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• OSHA outreach training experience is a plus.
• Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Knowledge : Strong understanding of OSHA and industry regulatory standards in construction, with the ability to communicate these effectively.
