Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist

Location: Lancaster, New Hampshire

Hours/Day: 8 hours (open to discussing 4-10 hour shifts)

Salary: $33.94/hr - $50.92/hr (based on years of experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat schoolchildren aged 3-21 who exhibit physical, mental, and/or cognitive deficits affecting their classroom success. This position will work within both inpatient and outpatient settings at a hospital-based program and will collaborate closely with medical staff and educational professionals within the school districts served.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional outcome-based evaluations and treatment plans for students within the academic setting.
• Work closely with special education instructors, teachers, and administrative staff to implement effective therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accountability to the School Therapy Program Coordinator and Rehabilitation Services Manager.

Qualifications:

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS
• Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly within educational settings, is preferred.
