Position Summary This role has primary responsibility for the collection, organization, and management of quantitative and qualitative data, conducting data analyses, fulfilling data requests, and creating reports and presentations using data visualization tools, such as Tableau, using both qualitative and quantitative data. Participates in quantitative and qualitative data collection activities, unit meetings, and fulfills data requests that align with role responsibilities. Implements and contributes to the design and planning of medical education research, scholarship, and program evaluation projects.
Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Performs data analysis and/or data management using the latest and best methodologies as implemented in statistical packages (SAS) including generation of tables and graphs.
- Advises and assists investigators in the design of experiments, clinical trials and epidemiological studies.
- Assists in data base design, implementation and maintenance of data collected over time for research purposes, including acquisition, editing and reporting.
- May assist in design and development of data entry systems.
- Functions as an expert statistical consultant primarily in collaborative studies involving the medical school community.
- Assumes major/exclusive responsibilities on large projects.
- Trains and/or supervises Statistical Data Analyst level staff.
- Assists investigators by preparing publication quality material including sections for manuscripts and grants.

Salary Range $65,900.00 - $112,700.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
