Overview: Works with the Hospital Shift Supervisor in the new Patient Progression Hub to compose and update accurate staffing information. Formulates and manages accurate staffing information for allocating nursing staff through the inpatient and critical care inpatient units. Assists in maintaining and documenting daily Inpatient and Staffing Huddles. Completes time reports assuring accuracy and compliance to CM policies. Responsibilities: - Performs daily staffing functions.
- Processes time and attendance for inpatient areas.
- Completes, distributes and files reports related to staffing, time and attendance.
- Attends education programs, unit meetings and assigned committees.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel (within own skill level).
Qualifications: - HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience in a clerical role or as an administrative assistant in a health care setting.
- Must have working knowledge of general computer use.
- Job requires demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete several tasks simultaneously.
- Majority of work involves processing data via computer programs and the use of excel spreadsheets.
Starting Pay: Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.88/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home: This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children's Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
