The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Technical Writer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Designing and writing product information our clients need to meet their compliance and regulation needs while enhancing their workflow operations.
Collaborating with many teams in the organization to ensure documentation and communication is accurate and complete.
Connecting teams across the organization as you work with many aspects of product delivery.
Learning a variety of products and gaining understanding of the audience that uses them.
Working with a team to exchange information and create cross-product efficiencies.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher with (4) four years of technical writing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
High School Diploma/GED(completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of eight(8) eight years of technical writing experience in private, public, government or military environment
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent communication and research skills
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Project management skills
Web design experience
Content management skills
Experience in the healthcare industry
Competency with desktop publishing tools and computers in general, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
Previous experience using the following tools for writing and publishing documents: Paligo or other content management system, Adobe Acrobat, Service Now knowledge base tools, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Work location:
Travel: May include up to 5% [domestic/international]

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $94,018 - $114,911, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
