Job Description

Salary: 120,000 - 160,000 USD per year Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or relevant technology degrees, or equivalent experience through a combination of education and/or technology experience. High School diploma or GED along with 12 years of progressively responsible experience is also acceptable.
  • 6 years of experience in technology and proficiency.
  • 6 years of experience leading large, complex/critical technology projects.
  • 3 years of experience influencing strategy for large organizations.
  • 2 years of experience managing or influencing others to achieve desired results; direct team management preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • As the Technology Manager, I will provide thought leadership to deliver creative and efficient technical solutions. I will lead the technical development and support of core mainframe products and initiatives, developing high-level delivery plans based on objectives such as scope, delivery and technical approaches, risk, assumptions, staffing plans, as well as ongoing operational plans and cost.
  • I will oversee client, customer, and vendor relations to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. I will also manage and develop a multifaceted team, cultivating a spirit of collaboration and shared goals. This includes participating in code reviews, ensuring timely code merges and successful deployments, and assessing team members' tasks, technologies, and skills for story assignments.
  • In terms of strategy, I will partner with corporate leaders to create and execute a technology strategy that enhances overall business capabilities, stay informed about technology trends, and continuously seek ways to transform the organization for greater efficiency and reduced expenses.
  • During delivery planning and execution, I will create, prioritize, plan, and execute portfolio/product roadmaps, reducing time to market through Agile methodologies, while addressing issues and risks promptly.
  • Additionally, I will ensure good system management practices, define and report metrics based on business objectives, and maintain compliance with technology and enterprise goals.

I prefer candidates with a mainframe technical background, knowledge of cloud/server-based technologies, and familiarity with the Hogan suite of applications. Experience with Payments PEP/ACH processes is considered a plus.

This role falls under Category C for work, meaning days in the office will vary from 2 to 5 days per week. The normal hours of work will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and the salary will be determined based on individual experience.
