Position: TWO Sr Quality Assurance Analyst (Quality Center, Manual Testing, Automated Testing)
Duration: Full-Time Permanent position (no contract, no corp to corp, no remote)

Skills: Quality Assurance Analyst, Quality Center, QTP, Load Runner, Manual Testing, Automated TestingROLE DESCRIPTION:Responsible for taking a lead role in designing, configuring, implementing, advocating and supporting HP Quality Center deployment and usage. Takes a lead role in configuring Quality Center based on corporate needs.
This includes base domain and project creation, field customizations, requirements and test plan structure setup, and basic workflow implementation. Acts as the expert regarding the set-up, maintenance, scheduling, and reporting of a test program through the use of Quality Center. Responsible for test plan and test lab set-up, importing requirements and test cases, requirements traceability, test lab execution processes and status, test case creation review processes and status, and defect reporting processes and status.
- • Acts as the point person for status reporting and executive dashboard development and implementation.
- • Provides leadership and direction regarding Quality Center and testing best practices for multiple teams.
- • Is responsible for and owns the reporting of software quality metrics.
- • Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
- • Provides a high-level interface between the IS Applications Development team and functional groups.
- • Actively participates in cross-functional team/task forces working closely with the user community applying an IS/Business perspective to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- • Validates testing using manual procedures, testing tools, and SQL, as required.
- • Interfaces with developers and business analysts to resolve software defects.
- • Takes a lead role in the definition and implementation of quality assurance practices and procedures.
- • Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
- • Performs stress, load testing, and regression testing of applications as required.
- • Leads all Test Phase functions, including test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, and test execution.
- • Effectively communicates plans and results to the functional business areas, IT Development Teams, and management. Assesses problems and solutions from a business perspective with a focus on what the customer really needs.
- • Liaises with and ensures that the IT Technical Development team provides cost effective, high-quality solutions to meet the defined business requirements.
- • Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs.
- • Addresses daily support issues with urgency and ensure that resolutions are meant to solve the root of the problem.
- • Works closely with the Help Desk for application support, training, and problem identification.
- • Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advice or influence business or technical partners.
- • Stays current with new technologies to best support the company.
- • Attends training, seminars, webinars, user groups, and other events as needed and approved by the IT QA Manager to as part of a development plan to maintain knowledge of current trends and technologies.
- • Responsible for IT Development Change Control
- • Process including, developing and managing process, tracking and reporting on key metrics, and leading all Change Control efforts.
- • Take a leadership role in developing and improving Project Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle.
- • As a senior member of the IT QA Team, mentor and coach fellow associates regarding SDLC and QA processes.
- • Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information.
- • Fosters the Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of corporate vision and unity of purpose.
- • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required
MUST-HAVES REQUIREMENTS:
- • 3+ yrs system and software development life cycle experience
- • 3+ yrs Quality Assurance Testing experience using Quality Center, QTP, Load Runner
- • Experience with creating and executing testing for both manual and automated testing
- • MUST have clear, verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- • Must have experience directing QA activities of off-shore resources and coaching on-shore teams.
- • Experience with software packages such as AS400, SAP or Salesforce will be a plus.
