About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Enterprise Compliance Officer to play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing its compliance program. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including program management, risk assessment, control assessment, regulatory change management, and complaint management. This role demands a professional who can embrace change, influence a positive culture of compliance, and adapt the program to fit the company's unique risk profile and growth. Key responsibilities include managing and updating the compliance program in line with federal and state laws, reviewing and advising on the creation of relevant policies and procedures, maintaining a compliance monitoring program, and performing routine compliance assessments. The VP will also be involved in preparing and presenting compliance reports, assisting in regulatory exams, and fostering a culture of compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate for the VP, Enterprise Compliance Officer position at the company will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in developing and maintaining a strong compliance management program, with a focus on understanding and applying laws and regulations across an enterprise. A Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification is preferred. The role requires a professional with a strategic, data-driven, and problem-solving approach, who is adept at influencing and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Experience in the financial technology industry is preferred, and a background in the transportation, shipping, or logistics factoring industry is a plus. The candidate should be an excellent communicator, demonstrate solution-oriented compliance judgment, and be comfortable operating in a highly regulated and dynamic environment.
